Open Position: IT Specialist 

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to our employees and clients, ensuring that all IT-related issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities
  • · Provide first-level support for hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
  • · Respond to support requests via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • · Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
  • · Document and track support requests using a ticketing system, ensuring accurate records of issues and resolutions.
  • · Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement improvements to processes and systems.
  • · Conduct training sessions for employees on new software and technology tools.
  • · Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices in IT support.
Qualifications
  • · Proven experience in a technical support role.
  • · Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications.
  • · Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • · Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • · Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
Preferred Skills
  • · Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  • · Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
  • · Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Working Conditions
  • · Full-time position with occasional overtime as needed
  • · May require on-call support during evenings or weekends.
